Wildflowers Hosting Artist Steve Kuzma

On Saturday, August 23rd, from 1-4, Wildflowers by the Lighthouse (410 Broadway, Barnegat Light, NJ, 08006), will hold a meet-the-artist reception for Steve Kuzma. Befitting an artist of Kuzma's renown, there will be violin music and beautifully framed examples of his work, but all of this will happen with a distinctively LBI flair. Kuzma, an enthusiastic teacher, will set up a tent in front of Wildflowers and there he will spend his afternoon in shorts or other island attire, painting and interacting with passersby.

Steve Kuzma studied at the Philadelphia College of Art and Parson's School of Design in New York City. Throughout the years Steve has utilized his artistic skills in the areas of graphic design, commissioned murals, book illustrations and advertising promotions. His work has been exhibited in solo and countless group exhibitions and is represented in the permanent collection of museums as well as private and corporate collections.

In his extensive travels overseas and throughout the continental United States, Steve has connected to nature and is inspired by its beauty. The love for nature along with his spiritual awareness is conveyed in his work. His free-flowing style blends his strong sense of color and mastery of layering techniques providing depth and dimension to his paintings.
